Título : On self, character, and the development of a psychic apparatus Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Irving Steingart, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2020 Artículo en la página: pp. 271-303 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Personaje, Desarrollo infantil, Ego, Desarrollo de personalidad, Autoconcepto, Superego. Resumen: The basic purpose of this paper is to define, psychoanalytically, the concepts of "character" and "self" (or, as I prefer to say, sense-of-self), and to define the interrelationship between these two concepts. My aim is to formulate these concepts so as to make them congruent with—but theoretically and clinically distinct from—the psychic system concepts id, ego, and superego. I understand these concepts to be classificatory terms. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23187
