[artículo]
Título : Innate inhibition of aggressiveness in infancy Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Benjamin Spock, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2020 Artículo en la página: pp. 340-343 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Agresión, Genética médica, Infantes, Psicología infantil, Represión, Psicología. Resumen: Observation of babies suggests to me that their potential hostile aggressiveness toward other people is initially under a strong innate inhibition and that they have to be taught to release it. Lantos (1958), in discussing the genetic derivation of aggression, expressed this same view in regard to the devouring energies of the carnivora: "These archaic oral energies are, in the human being, under primary repression." Resumen: I was never able to explain why almost all breast-fed babies can be weaned easily to the cup between six and nine months of age, whereas so many bottle-fed babies at the same age become increasingly devoted to the bottle and suspicious of the cup. Most breast-feeding mothers will report spontaneously, when the baby is about six months old, that his interest in the breast is decreasing markedly. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23305
