Resumen: Kenny's congenital brain damage manifested itself in athetosis, aphasia, and faulty ego apparatuses in general. His faulty ego apparatuses, which resulted from the congenital brain damage, and environmental punishment and restriction, interacted to cause a hostile and impulsive behavioral disturbance. Hence, it was necessary to help him structure those faulty ego apparatuses and work through his emotional conflicts arising from the aforementioned traumata in order for him to develop adequate ego function and a sense of identity.
