Pain, sleep disturbance, and fatigue are common complaints in somatic disorders. This review characterizes the connections between the immune system and brain, discussing the influence of proinflammatory cytokines on somatic symptoms of pain or hyperalgesia, sleep disturbance, and fatigue. |
