Resumen: |
Demonstrates the impact of artifacts (e.g., a picturebook for children) on the developing child's mind. Classic texts are discussed from a psychoanalytic viewpoint. By means of image, text, performing adult, and attentive child, picturebooks establish a liminal space in which fantasy blossoms, psychological issues are symbolically enacted, and the roots of cultural knowledge are implanted. |
