Significant dose effect of carbamazepine on reduction of steady-state plasma concentration of haloperidol in schizophrenic patients / Norio Yasui Furukori en Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Año 2003 - Vol. 23 - No. 5 (Octubre)
[artículo]
Título : Significant dose effect of carbamazepine on reduction of steady-state plasma concentration of haloperidol in schizophrenic patients Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Norio Yasui Furukori, Autor ; Tsuyoshi Kondo, Autor ; Kazuo Mihara, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2023 Artículo en la página: pp. 435-440 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Carbamazepina, Relación Dosis-Respuesta, Interacciones farmacológicas, Haloperidol, Esquizofrenia. Resumen: A reduction in haloperidol concentration induced by carbamazepine coadministration has been consistently reported. However, the degree of this reduction is very different among individuals treated with various doses of carbamazepine. Thus, we investigated dose effect of carbamazepine on the steady-state plasma concentration of haloperidol. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=30995

Resumen: The therapeutic spectrum of nemonapride, a new substituted benzamide, and its relationship with plasma concentrations of the drug and prolactin were investigated by a fixed-dose study (18 mg/day for 3 weeks) in 31 patients with acutely exacerbated schizophrenia. Of 31 patients, 25 (80.6%) were responders who showed a reduction in symptoms (percentage of improvement) of 50% or more after 3 weeks. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=31175
