Fluvoxamine-clozapine drug interaction: inhibition in vitro of five cytochrome p450 isoforms involved in clozapine metabolism / Ole V. Olesen en Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology, Año 2000 - Vol. 20 - No. 1 (Febrero)
[artículo]
Título : Fluvoxamine-clozapine drug interaction: inhibition in vitro of five cytochrome p450 isoforms involved in clozapine metabolism Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Ole V. Olesen, Autor ; Kristian Linnet, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2023 Artículo en la página: pp. 35-42 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Clozapina, Sistema enzimático citocromo P-450, Interacción medicamentosa, Fluvoxamina, Isoenzimas, Inhibidores selectivos de la recaptación de serotonina. Resumen: Administration of fluvoxamine to patients receiving clozapine therapy may increase the steady-state serum concentrations of clozapine by a factor of 5 to 10. The authors undertook in vitro studies to disclose the mechanism behind this clinically important interaction. In a human liver microsome preparation, fluvoxamine showed a concentration-dependent inhibition of clozapine N-demethylation. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=31229
