Resumen: |
Psychiatric diagnosis, as an activity and as a formulation, is crucially informed by culture and other social, biologic, and psychologic factors and processes. Diagnosis as an activity involves interviewing the patient and relevant others and consulting documentary sources in order to obtain information on history of psychiatric and general medical illness and on family, personal, and social histories. |
