Resumen:	Elderly chronic schizophrenia patients are particularly difficult to treat because of aging-related changes, cognitive impairment, and comorbid physical illness. This article describes a naturalistic, retrospective study of typical antipsychotic treatment versus risperidone for elderly psychotic inpatients.
