Psychotherapy with parent and child in failure-to-thrive / Elizabeth L. Loewald en The psychoanalytic study of the child, Año 1985 - Vol. 40 ([26/06/2020])
[artículo]
Título : Psychotherapy with parent and child in failure-to-thrive : analogies to the treatment of severely disturbed adults Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Elizabeth L. Loewald, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2020 Artículo en la página: pp. 345-364 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Conflicto psicológico, Fracaso - psicología, Relación padre-hijo, Equipo de atención al paciente, Psicoterapia. Resumen: Describes clinical findings obtained in a program involving 8 mothers with 4-mo to 3-yr-old children who failed to thrive (i.e., had height and weight below the 3rd percentile of normal for their age and sex). It is suggested that failure to thrive is not a single disease but a syndrome of common outcome. Thinking of its etiology as a spectrum seems to fit the clinical facts. The project involved 2 social workers, 3 pediatric nurses, a clinical psychologist, and a psychiatrist. Link: ./index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=23050
