[artículo]
Título : Death and the young child some preliminary considerations Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Robert A. Furman, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2020 Artículo en la página: pp. 321-333 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Infancia, Duelo, Muerte, Pérdida. Resumen: If Helene Deutsch's thoughts on the importance of completing the mourning task are accepted, then it is important to stress certain considerations: that a two- to three-year-old can master the concept of death; that a three-and-a-half- to four-year-old can mourn; that these precious abilities can be made unavailable to a child by unfavorable circumstances but can be supported and sustained to be at his service in favorable circumstances. Título : Death of a six-year-old's mother during his analysis Tipo de documento: texto impreso Autores: Robert A. Furman, Autor Fecha de publicación: 2020 Artículo en la página: pp. 377-397 Idioma : Inglés (eng) Idioma original : Inglés (eng) Palabras clave: Duelo, Análisis infantil, Fallecimiento parental, Niños, Actitud ante la muerte - niños. Resumen: This report covers the first seven months of the analysis of a six-year-old boy whose mother died four months after he began his treatment. The terminal phase of her illness started just two weeks after his first analytic session. I have tried to outline the technical problems which came in the wake of this tragedy and how they were approached. In this particular instance I was impressed with how little variation seemed necessary from the basic child analytic technique appropriate for a child of his age.
